What We Offer

Our programme is designed to give primary school learners the support they need after school in a structured, caring and encouraging environment. We focus on helping children complete their homework, strengthen their understanding, prepare for assessments and build confidence in their schoolwork.

Homework Assistance: Learners receive daily supervision and support while completing their homework. Our aim is to help children stay on track, develop responsibility and build a consistent homework routine.
Academic Support: We provide additional academic guidance to help learners better understand their schoolwork. This support is especially helpful for children who need extra explanation, encouragement or confidence in certain subjects.
Test & Exam Preparation: Learners are guided through revision, preparation and practice before tests and examinations. We help them develop better study habits and feel more prepared when assessment time arrives.
Small Group Support: Our small group setting allows learners to receive more focused attention than they would in a large aftercare environment. This helps create a calm, structured space where children can ask questions and receive guidance.
Qualified Primary School Teachers: Tutoring and academic support are facilitated by qualified primary school teachers who understand the needs of young learners. This ensures that children receive age-appropriate guidance and caring support.

Here are a few common questions parents may have about our Academic Aftercare programme.

Which grades do you accommodate?

We accommodate primary school learners from Grade 1 to Grade 7.

How many learners do you accept?

Enrolment is limited to a maximum of 30 learners. This allows us to provide a more structured environment, smaller groups and better individual attention.

Do you provide transport?

We do not provide transport directly. However, independent transport providers may be recommended to parents where possible.

Will my child receive individual attention?

Yes. Our Academic Aftercare programme is designed around small group support, allowing learners to receive guidance, encouragement and academic assistance where needed.

Are current aftercare learners affected?

No. Existing aftercare learners will automatically fall under the Homework Club at no additional cost. Their current aftercare fees will not be affected.

What academic support is included?

Support may include homework assistance, help with understanding schoolwork, revision guidance, test preparation and exam preparation, depending on the selected package.

Where is the Academic Aftercare Centre located?

The Academic Aftercare Centre is located on the secure Kleine Pikkewyne premises in Freeway Park, Boksburg.
